Centre ValBio Construction

Centre de Formation International pour la Valorisation de la Biodiversité

International Training Center for the Study of Biodiversity

ICTE has upgraded the research and training facilities at Ranomafana National Park. In mid-2003, research and training activities moved from the old facility inside the park (Ranomafana National Park Research Station) to the new facility just outside the park (Centre ValBio). Financial support for the upgrade came from the National Science Founation, the University of Helsinki, United Nations Foundation/UNESCO, Nando Peretti Foundation, and Stony Brook University.

Below are some photos of the construction project. This Acrobat Adobe file is a more detailed slide show of the construction of the Centre ValBio.
