Centre ValBio Station Fees for work in Ranomafana
National Park:
Starting in September 2003, all researchers will be based at
the Centre Valbio Research and
Training Station.
Station Fees, salaries, and perdiems should ALL be paid
directly to the accountant at the Centre ValBio in Ariary (NOTE:
the Centre ValBio cannot accept $US, EU or travelers cheques).
Station fees cover:
1. Research facilitation services:
help getting your field project started, and hiring and managing
research technicians, coordination with local ANGAP (park service)
authorities, access to weekly email exchanges, opportunity to
rent vehicles for research purposes
2.
3 meals/day at the Centre ValBio (including box lunch if requested)
3. Tent site at Centre ValBio (please provide your own tent)
3. Work space in Research Room
4. Use of electricity (220V)
5. Hot showers and running water

Film Teams (including documentaries)
are charged a filming fee by ANGAP
