Study Abroad in Madagascar
Undergraduates from any university can participate in Stony Brook
University's Madagascar Study Abroad Program. Most universities
accept transfer credits. The program is held from September-November
every year. Cl asses
are based at Ranomafana National Park
(at the Centre ValBio), and include
expeditions to other habitats in Madagascar. This is
a rigorous, science-based program featuring courses in Biodiversity
Science Field Methods, Primate Behavior and Ecology, and Madagascar
Ecosystems. The program culminates with each student designing
and executing an independent research project. Click
