light grey to dark brown, males have a short rostrum, every 4th or 5th spine
on dorsal crest is larger than the others. Prehensile tail.

UEA found a large bias towards females (73%female, 27%male). 9% hatchling, 16% juvenile, 74% adult. Roosting between 1.5-3.5m.
