This small gecko is diurnal, but will remain active in rooms lit by electric lights. It is quite common around human structures.
Total length 11cm. (Glaw, 1994)
It may be distinguished from P. lineata by the presence of a dark spot behind the front leg, and the absence of a band on the lower side of the body.
